Projects

A quiet collection of the work I’m building alongside good people — grounded, human-centred, and shaped by real places, real purpose, and real connection.

HORSESPEAK — Phase One

A living project I’m developing alongside the HorseSpeak team.

A Ranch With Heart, Purpose, and Real Work

HorseSpeak is the first project I’m building under the LiftBound banner — though I’ve spent many years quietly helping small businesses, farms, and purpose-led people create calm, human-centred systems.

HorseSpeak lives in Burson, California, on a small working ranch where the land, the horses, and the people all move with intention. It’s a place where confidence is rebuilt slowly, trust is earned gently, and connection is felt long before it’s spoken.

I’ve joined the team at a moment where their digital footprint exists, but it’s been scattered and hard to maintain — a natural result of being fully immersed in the real, hands-on work of the ranch. They haven’t had the time or space to step back, see what needs simplifying, or decide what to grow next.

My role in Phase One is to help clarify their intentions, bring the wider team into the vision, and start shaping a calm, meaningful online presence that matches the heart of HorseSpeak.

Phase One: What We’re Working On

Right now, our focus is gentle and intentional — building the foundation together, at the pace the land and the work allow.

In this first phase, we’ve:

  • Clarified the heart and deeper purpose of HorseSpeak
  • Created the first intention map with MaryBeth and Esther
  • Developed the first Heart Guide — a visual compass for the tone, story, and emotional truth of the ranch
  • Designed the first Instagram Grid Guide and Highlights structure to support a calm, story-led social presence
  • Begun shaping a digital direction that feels honest to the place and the people
  • Started early thinking around a website that feels grounded, spacious, and true

This first stage is really about listening, observing, and letting the truth of the place guide what comes next.

Where This Project Is Heading

HorseSpeak has a powerful story at its centre — and we’re building the digital version of that story with care, honesty, and the same steady rhythm the ranch already lives by.

  • A website that feels grounded, welcoming, and true to the spirit of the place
  • A gentle, story-led social presence shaped by real moments, not noise
  • Photography and video that carry the wairua of the ranch — the land, the work, the horses, the people
  • A clear, supportive digital pathway for those who need HorseSpeak’s healing work
  • A storytelling ecosystem anchored in trust, presence, and genuine connection

We’re not rushing toward a finished product.
We’re creating something that grows at the right pace, stays close to the heart of the ranch, and feels honest every step of the way.

A Living Project

Phase One is really about laying down roots — listening, observing, and letting the land, the horses, and the people shape the direction. Nothing forced. Nothing rushed.

If you’d like to follow along as this project grows, you’re welcome to check back anytime — this page will evolve as the work does.
